Tonight The Day I Snapped have the pleasure of opening for the currently very popular Biffy Clyro, at the very packed King Tuts. They storm through the likes of 'Start Again', 'Jennifer Eight' and 'Unwound' only stopping for Alan to retune his guitar, which gives Craig the opportunity to chat and introduce the next song. T-Bone does his regular exaggerated faces and fits in some samba type hip-swaying to match some funky tom-tom drums that I don't recall being there before. Alan dedicates a song to his Mum and Dad who are here tonight, apologising for the swearing, the tattoos and generally being Alan. Craig, never one to miss an opportunity, adds that as his Mum and Dad aren't here, he can swear all he likes and proceeds to give us his impressive repartee. They are certainly on top form with all the songs sounding great and the guys looking as if they're enjoying it too, easily blowing away the less exciting headlining bands. |
