The Living End ticket & set list
Australians, The Living End, play an interesting mix of punk, ska and rockabilly with a hint of jazz/swing style thrown in. Add to this a black and white chequered, upright bass and it all makes for a rather unique sound and visual live show.

The show tonight bursts into action with 'Monday' followed by the title track from the forthcoming album 'Roll On'. No surprise then, that just over half of the set consists of new songs but they are well received as there is no major departure from their usual style; lively, punk-inspired rock songs with sing-along choruses and thumping bass. The pub anthem style of 'Uncle Harry' goes down particularly well with the young, amiable crowd at the front. Partly giving in to someone's demands they play a verse and the chorus from 'Tainted Love' and mid set they cool off with a laid-back, almost jazz, version of 'The Flintstones'. They finish by encouraging us to join them in the rousing 'Prisoner of Society' before finally leaving us with an instrumental encore and 'Second Solution'.
