There are no rules But maybe I'm just old-fashioned and believe that being punk is partly about individuality. So if you really want to be like everybody else than go look for what you think are 'punks' and then dress exactly like them. She's gorgeous, talented, cool and The Distillers are an excellent band. Hey, I might even have a thing about her myself! This doesn't mean that I fancy her, just that I think she's cool and that I can relate to her songs and the image she puts across. Crushes aren't always an indication of your sexuality, it can also be an indication of the type of person you admire or would like to be yourself. I've had crushes on female punk rockers, but I've never wanted to go out with any women in real life. So I'd say if Brody is the only woman you've ever had a crush on, then it's just a harmless punk idol crush. So I'd say enjoy it, but maybe cut down a bit on buying just anything to do with The Distillers!
Although if you also like women in real life, then that wouldn't be wrong either. You like who you like, it's not a choice and if anybody tells you any different tell them I want a word. Hey, Lindsey, just for you...
